SL Jewelry Exposition 2007
Sep 15th, 2007 by Arkesh Baral
The Jewelry Exposition opened today, and we have a booth! This is our first expo of any kind, and I’m pretty pleased with the appearance of our little space there. If you get a chance to check it out, it’s being generously hosted by OnRez.com at OnRez Orientation island in Second Life. This year’s expo has a celestial theme; you can read more about it at the Expo’s website.
We have also released a new item in a celestial-inspired theme, and for now, you can only see it at the Expo. The “Starry Night” Neckpiece is designed in shiny night-black steel with gleaming pearls that are captured like stars in their eternal course around the universe. If you watch the pearls in just the right lighting, you can see they have subtly different tints. A delicate hinge at the back is adorned with half-dome pearls as well.
This neckpiece is shaped for the female neck, and other matching pieces are in the works, so keep checking back here.
Psst… And a little secret for our readers… Two of our display boxes in our booth at the expo have a special price of 1 Linden. You’ll have to look in the booth to find them.
Now that the expo has ended, I have set up the display for the Starry Night Neckpiece in the main store. Demos are available. Remember that demos of our neck wear are not resizeable, and are sized larger than the non-demo versions so they will fit a wider range of neck sizes. You will be able to resize non-demo versions, and they will start smaller as well.
[...] The second piece in Ephemeral Creations’ Starry Night jewellery line is out! Our Starry Night Earrings, with a graceful spiral and a single lustrous pearl, are a fine complement for the Starry Night Neckpiece, which debuted at the 2007 SL Jewelry Expo. [...]
